Job summary

BayCare Health System in South Florida is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN to join a compassionate team on the Labor & Delivery Unit - SFB. The role is full-time, with a 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM shift and every-other weekend.

You will provide nursing care using evidence-based practice, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patient and family needs. Required certifications include RN license, BLS, and NRP, with at least 6 months of L&D experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required with current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing as stated.
• 6 months RN Labor & Delivery experience preferred; 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in hospital settings using nursing process and standards.
• Collaborate with inter-disciplinary care providers in plan of care.
• Organize, prioritize and update plan of care with patient and family.
• Identify at-risk patients and prepare room environment.
