BayCare Health System is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our compassionate team in Plant City. The role supports a busy Labor & Delivery unit and offers a full-time schedule with day shifts.

The RN will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the care team, and monitor patient outcomes to ensure safe, quality care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS—Basic Life Support required.
• At least 6 months RN Labor & Delivery experience; 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate patient care activities as appropriate to the health care team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care providers to develop and adjust the plan of care.

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Labor & Delivery RN to join our outstanding and compassionate team!

Registered Nurse Position Details:

• Facility: BayCare Health System, Labor & Delivery Unit - SFB
• Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: 6:45AM - 7:15PM
• On Call: Yes

The Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.
• Collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

Required Certification/Licensures:

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required Education:

• Associate's degree in Nursing
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing- Preferred

Required Experience:

• Registered Nurse license
• At least 6 months RN Labor & Delivery experience
• At least 1 year of RN Labor & Delivery experience is strongly preferred
