Job summary

BayCare Health System in Florida is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our compassionate team. This full-time role is based in the Labor & Delivery Unit at SFB, Plant City, with shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, alternating weekends and on-call duties.

Responsibilities include independent patient care, coordinating with the care team, updating plans of care, and ensuring patient safety. Required: RN license, BLS, NRP, and an Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree is

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required.

Responsibilities

• Works in a hospital setting providing nursing care for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in the plan of care.
• Organizes and updates the care plan with patient, family, and care team.
• Identify patients at risk and prepare the room environment accordingly.
