Job summary

Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center seeks an RN in Labor, Delivery and Recovery with significant L&D experience to join a dynamic team in Sun City West, AZ.

The role supports labor/delivery care with 24-hour anesthesia coverage and doulas for maternal support, across a unit designed for family comfort and mobility. Qualified candidates will have an active RN license in the state, and prior acute care experience in L&D is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• Experience in the clinical area for which they are applying is desired.
• Banner Health positions require clinical performance competencies and annual validations.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care.
• Formulate plans of care including discharge planning.
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise care with the healthcare team.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Document care and ensure timely updates to the patient record.
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives and mentoring of staff.
