Job summary

Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, AZ is hiring a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. You will join a dedicated Women and Infants Services team delivering family-centered care in a Level II facility with 24-hour obstetric and neonatal coverage.

As an L&D RN you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, coordinate with the care team, and document all aspects of care. The role emphasizes patient safety, education, and supportive family involvement.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and educational needs and plan care.
• Develop and implement a patient-centered plan of care, including discharge planning.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team and supervise activities of care providers.
• Document assessment, plan, interventions and patient response in the medical record.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams to ensure quality outcomes.
