Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience to join our team. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families to promote understanding and recovery.

This full-time, day-shift position requires RN licensure, BLS, and a strong ability to work in a team while maintaining documentation, infection control, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• RN licensure required
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
