Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an experienced RN in Ohio to provide comprehensive patient care within the hospital setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care following the hospital model of care and ANA guidelines.

Applicants should hold an Ohio RN license and be prepared to obtain a BSN within five years of hire. BLS is required; ACLS within six months for step-down/ICU areas.

• Demonstrates and documents holistic patient assessments across physical, psychosocial, and education needs.
• Creates and revises care plans in collaboration with patients and families.
• Communicates SBAR during handoffs and with the care team.
• Performs nursing actions with safe, evidence-based practice.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Responds to emergencies with prompt, precise actions.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Supports professional development and mentoring of staff.
• Participates in staff and council meetings and quality initiatives.
