Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver holistic patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care coordination, evidence-based practice, and education for patients and families. Ohio licensure and BLS are required; ACLS within six months may be required in some units.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license required.
• BSN within 5 years of hire preferred, not always required.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required; ACLS within 6 months in some units.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to implement care.
• Document care activities accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and aftercare.
• Facilitate handoffs using SBAR and participate in rounds.
