Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an experienced RN to provide comprehensive labor and delivery care in our Family Birth Center. You will perform maternal-fetal assessments, support laboring patients with pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain management, and ensure safe newborn transition after delivery.

This role requires an WA RN license on hire, BLS with RQI competency, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 6 months. Prior Mother/Baby or obstetric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• WA RN license upon hire.
• New graduate with senior practicum in L&D or Mother/Baby.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients in the Family Birth Center.
• Performs assessments and skilled nursing procedures.
• Manages pain control for laboring patients.
• Cares for postpartum patients and well newborns.
• Circulates for Cesarean Sections and assists post-surgical patients.
