You will deliver compassionate, high‑quality care for pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum patients, and newborns, performing assessments and skilled procedures within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, upon hire.
• One to two years Med/Surg experience with completion of Mother/Baby Education program or
• New graduate with completion of senior practicum in L&D, Mother/Baby unit or nursery.
• Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification. This location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) RQI competency certification post-hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 6 - months

Responsibilities

• Conducts Maternal-Fetal Assessment.
• Provides nursing support to the laboring patients, utilizing pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain management.
• Provides stabilization and transition of the normal newborn at delivery.
• Circulates for Cesarean Sections.
• Cares for the post-surgical patient.
