Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs via observation and records.
• Develop and implement patient plans of care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts confidentially and document status, interventions, and outcomes; use IT for communication.
• Promote and advocate for patient safety and rights.
• Educate patients and families, assessing learning needs and delivering teaching.
