TEEMA Solutions Group seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide specialized care for mothers and newborns through labor, delivery, recovery, and the postpartum period. The role involves assessing patients, monitoring fetal and maternal well-being, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced obstetric setting.

Qualifications

ASN required; BSN preferred.
RN license in the practicing state or Compact license.
Current BLS certification required.
ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications preferred or required by facility policy.
Recent Labor & Delivery, Women’s Health, or Obstetrics nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care to antepartum, laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients.
Monitor fetal heart rate patterns, uterine activity, and maternal status throughout labor and delivery.
Assist physicians during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and other prescribed treatments.
Provide newborn care, stabilization, and patient/family education.
Recognize and respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records.
Collaborate with physicians and the interprofessional team to coordinate care.
Follow infection prevention, patient safety, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
