Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
• BSN required.
• RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must enroll in BSN within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and complete within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance nursing practice and delivery of care.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Coordinates communication at regular intervals through staff meetings/huddles.
• Ensures understanding and compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and policies.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess satisfaction and care quality.
• Delegates care to appropriate healthcare workers per policy parameters.
• Assists in identifying outcomes and directing continuity of care/operations.
• Evaluates progress toward goals and disseminates information to the team.
• Performs nursing care, assists with treatments, therapies, procedures, and medications.
• Coordinates patient flow and staffing based on volume/acuity needs.

Education
