Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, is hiring for a Labor & Delivery leadership role. The unit provides high-energy perinatal care with 24/7 physician support across anesthesia, maternal-fetal medicine, and NICU.

The RN leader will oversee clinical operations, staff development, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, staffing, and performance improvements while ensuring quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• BSN required; leadership/management experience preferred.
• BLS certification within policy guidelines and professional certification within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Supports the manager to enhance nursing practice and delivery of care.
• Interviews, selects and supervises nursing personnel in the department.
• Coordinates communication via staff meetings/huddles.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state laws, healthcare regulations, and internal policies.
• Rounds on patients, staff, and physicians to assess care and department operations.
• Delegates care according to policy and legal parameters.
• Identifies expected outcomes and communicates progress to team.
• Performs nursing care, treatments, and medications as needed.
• Manages patient flow and staffing based on volume and acuity.
