• Shift Differential: Nights: $3.50, Weekends: $6.00
• Shifts Available: Full-Time – Nights – Rotating Weekends (Every Other Weekend)

Facility description:

Client is an accredited, 150+ bed regional medical center offering cardiology, diagnostic imaging, emergency, inpatient rehabilitation, oncology, orthopedics, and women’s services. They are an Accredited Chest Pain Center and a Primary Stroke Center, providing leading emergency heart and stroke care. Their satellite campus, Client Natchez, offers imaging and oncology services, including a 24/7 full-service ER with the same services as the main campus.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and oversees all functions in the unit/department during the shift. In collaboration with management, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource for staff, and models the organization’s values to support excellent patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

• Assist with admission and discharge processes for efficient patient throughput.
• Participate in assessing the quality of patient care services.
• Collaborate with team members to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support a patient-first approach and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Implement nursing strategies to improve staff engagement, including rounding and other initiatives.
• Contribute to staffing, training, and personnel management.
• Manage staff scheduling and ensure proper inventory control.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date.
• Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree.
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required.
• Leadership experience in Women’s, L&D, NICU, or Mother-Baby Units preferred.
• Willingness to be the go-to person for staffing needs, capable of delivering babies, and scrubbing in the OR as needed.
