Job summary

UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Clinical Support Tech I for Labor & Delivery. This position combines Nursing Assistant I duties with Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities and requires CNA certification.

You will work rotating day and night shifts, 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts, with weekend and holiday rotation. The unit handles high-risk cases and offers an extensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to develop basic computer skills if not proficient.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures, and procure equipment and supplies.
• Review patient care documentation and report significant changes to nurse or physician.
• Perform clerical tasks: organize workload, greet visitors, and manage orders and records; conduct PI audits and data entry.
