Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. The role maintains patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with Mercy’s mission and Service Standards.

This position is in Mercy’s Labor & Birth unit, supporting mothers and newborns with 24/7 in-house obstetric care and a strong focus on staffing quality and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/Diploma/BSN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Evaluate and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Uphold patient rights and maintain confidentiality in line with standards.
