Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Labor Associate for our Melville, NY office. The role focuses on traditional labor relations and advising employers on federal and New York workplace laws.

You will represent management in labor proceedings and provide strategic guidance on compliance and workforce engagement. The ideal candidate has a JD from an accredited law school, 2+ years of traditional labor law experience, NY Bar admission, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of traditional labor law experience preferred.
• NY Bar Admission required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle unfair labor practice charges at the NLRB.
• Conduct research and draft legal documents.
• Represent management in NLRB elections.
• Advise employers on union organizing and corporate campaigns.
• Negotiate and advise on collective bargaining agreements.
• Manage grievance, arbitration, and ULP proceedings.
• Obtain mass picketing injunctions.
• Review handbooks and policies for compliance.
• Conduct management training on labor relations and workplace issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• May require regular business travel.
