Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in White Plains, NY is seeking a Labor Associate to join our labor and employment team, focusing on traditional labor relations and advising on federal and New York workplace statutes.

The ideal candidate will represent employers in NLRB matters, draft pleadings, conduct research, and help develop proactive strategies to address workplace issues. JD and NY Bar are required, with 2+ years’ experience preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 2+ years of traditional labor law experience preferred.
• NY Bar Admission.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Handle unfair labor practice charges at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
• Draft legal documents and conduct research.
• Represent management in NLRB elections.
• Advise employers on union organizing and corporate campaigns.
• Negotiate and advise on collective bargaining agreements.
• Manage grievance, arbitration, and unfair labor practice proceedings.
• Obtain mass picketing injunctions.
• Review handbooks and policies for legal compliance.
• Conduct management training on labor relations and workplace issues.
