The position is fully remote, features a reduced billable‑hour target (1500-1750), and may be performed anywhere in California with an active CA bar license. The team is primarily composed of former partners and senior counsel seeking a more balanced professional lifestyle.

You will take full ownership of defending administrative agency charges and attorney demand letters from initial assessment through final resolution. This involves direct client communication, strategic evaluation, and producing high‑quality written advocacy.

• Preparing compelling and strategic position statements
• Responding to agency information requests
• Leading mediations and settlement negotiations remotely
