Finch, Thornton & Baird, LLP, a San Diego-based Chambers-listed construction and business law firm, seeks a Labor and Employment Attorney with 1–8 years of experience to join our team.

You will represent construction clients and provide broad labor law expertise across industries, handling wage/hour disputes, harassment and discrimination claims, union matters, policy reviews, and employee contracts. The base salary range is $150,000 to $285,000, commensurate with class year and experience.

San Diego based, Chambers listed and AV-rated, Construction and Business Law Firm with emphasis in public works and commercial construction seeks a LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT ATTORNEY (1-8 YEARS EXPERIENCE)

We invite you to join our team of attorneys representing construction clients in all facets of their businesses. In addition to serving construction industry clients, our team offers Labor and Employment expertise in many non-construction sectors. This crossover knowledge of different industries' best practices provides valuable context on shaping prudent policy recommendations.

We handle issues from wage and hour disputes to harassment and discrimination claims to union grievances. If you have or would like experience with the California Labor Commissioner, the NLRB, Cal/OSHA or class action and representation PAGA lawsuits, this is for you. We also handle compliance training, preparing employee handbooks and workplace policies, reviewing and drafting employment contracts, and prevailing wage actions, to name a few.

Base Salary Range: $150,000 to $285,000 - dependent on class year and applicable experience

Associates receive a base salary, bonus based on hours, and a benefits package which is competitive in the San Diego market.

Associates are expected to independently analyze and recommend practical, cost-efficient legal solutions. Guidance is readily available and provided by partners and senior associates so as to ensure that new associates develop into goal-oriented problem solvers who earn clients' confidence.
