About The Opportunity:

A nationally recognized law firm, ranked among the top litigation practices in the U.S. and known for its commitment to diversity and pro bono service, is seeking a talented Labor & Employment Litigation Associate to join its growing team in either its New Jersey or Philadelphia office. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term career growth and the chance to work alongside some of the most respected litigators in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in labor and employment litigation in both state and federal courts
• Handle administrative matters before local, state, and federal agencies (e.g., EEOC, DOL, NLRB)
• Provide strategic advice and counseling to employers on workplace-related issues
• Draft legal memoranda, motions, pleadings, and other court filings with a high degree of accuracy and clarity
• Participate in all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of employment litigation experience
• Strong background in administrative practice before government agencies
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Active bar license in New Jersey or Pennsylvania is required; both preferred
• Experience with traditional labor matters such as arbitrations, negotiations, and unfair labor practice charges is a plus
• Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated commitment to high-quality legal work
