Jobot is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney in Cherry Hill, NJ, on-site, for a permanent role with a salary range of $110,000–$150,000 per year.

The ideal candidate will handle a range of employment matters, including litigation, counseling, and compliance, and will be admitted to practice in New Jersey. Pennsylvania admission is preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the New Jersey Bar (required).
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience with employment litigation and/or counseling.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in labor and employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on employment law issues.
• Advise clients on employment-related compliance, policies, and best practices.
• Assist with internal investigations and risk assessments.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, and workplace policies.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
• Stay current on developments in federal, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania employment laws.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Labor & Employment Attorney with at least two years of relevant experience to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a range of employment-related matters, including litigation, counseling, and compliance, and will be admitted to practice in New Jersey. Admission in Pennsylvania is strongly preferred.
