Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Employment Law Associate for its East Coast operations. The role blends advisory counseling with active employment litigation, offering early responsibility and direct work with partners and clients.

Responsibilities

• Counsel employers on federal and state employment law, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, leave, and accommodation issues
• Draft handbooks, policies, employment agreements, and separation agreements
• Handle employment litigation in state and federal court, including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and mediation
• Respond to and defend charges before the EEOC and state agencies
• Assist with workplace investigations and training

The Firm’s Labor & Employment group handles both advisory and contested matters for employers. It’s adding a mid-level associate to support continued growth in its East Coast offices.
