Jobot is seeking an Associate Attorney in a consulting capacity for a civil defense practice with a national footprint. The role offers a salary range of $100,000 to $200,000 per year and a remote-flexible collaborative environment, with on-site support in Cherry Hill, New Jersey as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctor degree, be admitted to the New Jersey Bar, and bring at least 2 years of litigation or advisory experience.

Qualifications

• Active bar membership in good standing in New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of litigation or advisory experience.
• Strong legal research and deposition preparation or participation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Draft and review memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

• Advise clients and teams on procedural requirements and potential actions.

Bring sharp legal analysis and confident advocacy to a dynamic Consulting Associate Attorney role. You'll partner with attorneys and clients to assess complex legal issues, shape case strategy, and move matters forward. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive legal professional with 1+ years of experience who enjoys solving challenging problems, collaborating with legal teams, and delivering practical, client-focused guidance. Willing to entertain candidates from plaintiff side or fresh out of law school as well.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Draft and review legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other case-related documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, including developing questions, reviewing evidence, preparing witnesses, and analyzing testimony.
• Support litigation strategy through case assessment, factual investigation, and evaluation of legal risks.
• Advise clients and legal teams on legal issues, procedural requirements, and potential courses of action.
• Manage assigned matters, maintain accurate case documentation, and meet court and client deadlines.
• Collaborate with supervising attorneys, outside counsel, experts, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
