Kitron Group in Windber, PA is seeking a Labeling & Marking Specialist for the second shift. You will read technical drawings, manage labeling, select marking methods, operate label printers, and track serial numbers to ensure accurate product identification.
You will support the MES system, coordinate with production, and identify process improvements. The role requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and comfort with standard manufacturing practices.

Job Summary
The Labeling and Marking Technician creates, manages, and inspects product labels and markings to meet customer, regulatory, and industry standards. This role involves reading technical drawings, selecting marking methods, creating marking designs and location based on customer information, operating label printers and etching equipment, tracking serial numbers, and coordinating with production teams. The technician also provides guidance on maintaining labeling materials, supports the MES system, and identifies process improvements to ensure accuracy and efficiency in product identification.
Typical working conditions at Kitron are indoors, safe, well lit, temperature controlled, low exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors, clean and sanitary conditions with average light industrial noise. Production areas have machinery with moving parts. Static dissipative smock, and shoes are required. Offices with locking doors, meeting rooms, and common printing areas are well lit, clean, low noise, and temperature controlled with no exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors.
