Kitron Group is seeking an SMT Operator for the first shift at our Windber, PA facility. You will read and execute work instructions, prepare materials, label feeders, and operate SMT and paste equipment to ensure high-quality output.
The role requires basic PC skills, independent work, and willingness to work 6:00am–3:30pm or 6:00am–2:30pm on alternating Fridays. We offer comprehensive benefits and a 9/80 schedule.
Location: On-Site in Windber, PA
Shift: 9/80 (6:00am - 3:30pm Mon-Thurs. and 6:00am - 2:30pm every other Friday)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

We are looking for a detail oriented person that is able read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures, collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process, label feeders to be loaded onto pick and place, load pick and place feeders following established procedures.
Typical working conditions at Kitron are indoors, safe, well lit, temperature controlled, low exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors, clean and sanitary conditions with average light industrial noise. Production areas have machinery with moving parts. Static dissipative smock, and shoes are required. Offices with locking doors, meeting rooms, and common printing areas are well lit, clean, low noise, and temperature controlled with no exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors.
