Job summary

MCC in Neenah, WI is seeking a Press Operator Assistant to support printing presses, set up jobs, and assist with changeovers according to specifications and customer expectations.

You will work in a fast-paced production environment, adhere to safety and quality standards, perform basic cleaning, data entry, and assist the press operator to ensure on-time completion and efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Print shop experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to read and understand a job ticket.
• Able to read a ruler and pass a ruler test.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company and safety policies.
• Assist in planning and executing jobs and quick changes.
• Assist in external make-ready operations and changeovers.
• Assist in post-changeover clean-up and ink pan cleaning.
• Locate dies to and from press and assist operator with label viewing.
• Complete quality assurance sheets and documentation as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery and workspace.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Related duties as assigned.
