Job summary

MCC in Wisconsin is seeking a Press Operator to manufacture printed labels and monitor quality and press conditions. You will follow safety rules, perform make-readies, and conduct quality checks to meet customer specifications.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1–5 years of lithographic press experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and solid math and reading skills. We offer three shifts, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–5 years of lithographic press experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret internal/external communications.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with teammates.
• Able to perform basic math and measurements.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Root-cause analysis and corrective action mindset.
• Mechanical aptitude and awareness of color standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to plant and corporate safety rules and guidelines.
• Report safety concerns to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area with daily housekeeping.
• Complete make-readies per Job Ticket and Product Specs for print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers.
• Perform press-side quality checks on product specs, visuals, and functionality.
• Operate press to meet customer specs while monitoring quality, waste, and efficiency.
• Maintain consistent quality; perform critical color, copy, and registration checks.
• Follow procedures and measurements per the BRC standard.
• Complete press make-readies efficiently and perform equipment maintenance as required.
• Clean plate, cylinder, and ink pans; lubricate press as needed.
• Record material usage and time accurately in GlobeTek system.
