Job summary

MCC Label, a global leader in premium labels, seeks a Press Operator to manufacture printed labels and monitor quality. The role supports 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts in a fast-paced production environment in Neenah, WI.

The candidate will adhere to safety guidelines, complete make-readies, perform quality checks, and maintain equipment. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years as a printing press operator experience and/or training.
• The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
• This position requires frequent walking.
• Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through daily housekeeping.
• Complete makeready according to Job Ticket and Product Specification to ensure correct components.
• Perform press-side quality checks and ensure product specifications are met.
• Operate press to meet customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and efficiency.
• Ensure quality checks for color, registration, ink adhesion, and other criteria.
• Follow procedures and work instructions outlined in the BRC standard.
• Complete press makeready efficiently and perform required equipment maintenance.
• Clean plate, cylinder, and ink pans; lubricate press as needed.
• Input all required information into GlobeTeksystem for material usage and time.
