Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Back End Label Machine Operator for 1st shift (Wed 9:30a-6p, Thu-Sat 8a-7:30p). The role focuses on operating label machines, minimizing waste, and maintaining accurate material logs.

You will work under supervision to meet production goals while following safety protocols and company policies. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, plus strong mechanical skills and the ability to use ERP systems for job

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
• Able to keep logs of raw materials and operate ERP systems.
• Follows safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Experience with inventory and FIFO processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates label machines to meet daily production deadlines.
• Minimizes waste and improper use of raw materials.
• Communicates production issues to supervisor/manager.
• Performs distribution functions as needed.
• Keeps accurate logs of materials used and carton IDs.
• Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
• Maintains dies and keeps work area clean and safe.
• May work overtime or on another shift as required.
• Complies with drug-free workplace and company policies.
