Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation in Pennsylvania is hiring a Machine Operator for the night shift. This full-time role includes a $500 sign-on bonus and responsibility for operating label machines to meet daily production schedules.

You will follow all safety rules, maintain accurate logs, use the ERP system for time and materials, and keep a clean, organized work area with proper PPE. Shift details apply, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Strong mechanical skills to operate label machine equipment.
• Ability to embody Vestcom’s core values.

Responsibilities

• Operates the label machines properly and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
• Communicates label production issues with supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
• Performs distribution functions as needed.
• Keeps accurate log of raw materials used in the production of labels; maintains FIFO inventory.
• Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
• Responsible for maintenance of all dies.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area; follows PPE and safety rules.
• Overtime or other shift work may be required.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
