Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Back End label machine operator on 1st shift (Wed 9:30a-6p, Thu-Sat 8a-7:30p) to meet production schedules. You will operate label machines, minimize waste, and log materials using the ERP system, while maintaining safe, clean work areas and adhering to safety policies.

Experience in manufacturing with mechanical skills is preferred. The role may require overtime or another shift as needed, with comprehensive benefits available from day one.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks on a production line.
• Wamiliarity with ERP systems for time and materials logging.

Responsibilities

• Operates the label machines properly and efficiently to meet daily production deadlines.
• Minimizes waste or misuse of raw materials.
• Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor or Facility Manager.
• Performs distribution functions as needed.
• Keeps accurate log of raw materials used in production and logs date/ID for FIFO inventory.
