Job summary

Avery Dennison Vestcom is seeking a Label Machine Operator to operate label machines, monitor equipment, and maintain precise logs. You will work with a safety-minded team on a rotating schedule to meet daily production goals while minimizing waste.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, color vision, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Starting pay is $20–$21 per hour with benefits including health, 401K, and paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of related manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to analyze equipment performance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift.
• Color vision proficiency to distinguish product variations.

Responsibilities

• Operate label machines efficiently to meet daily production deadlines while minimizing material waste.
• Use mechanical aptitude to monitor equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and identify root causes.
• Maintain logs of raw materials in the ERP system and ensure a zero-defect mindset.
• Keep the work area clean and safe and collaborate with the production team.
