Job summary

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of related standards for air conditioning (AHRI, CFR, UL.)
• Ability to independently lead work with minimal supervision, exercising sound judgment to set priorities, resolve issues, and drive results aligned with business objectives.
• Proven capability to manage multiple priorities through strong time management, organizational discipline, and attention to detail, ensuring commitments are met in a dynamic, schedule-driven environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude for unit set up with lab testing fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Review test plans to ensure appropriateness, modify test setups as required, and calibrate test environment.
• Interpret test standards to confirm setup and appropriate methods to determine test stability and validity.
• Maintain calibration of chambers and instruments to ensure ISO 17025 conformance.
• Communicate with facilities and engineers about issues and daily progress.
• Move engineering samples between test, preparation, and storage areas; obtain refrigerant certification to perform testing.
