Job summary

Generac Power Systems, Inc. is seeking an Associate Engineer to provide engineering lab support, manage test equipment, and develop test fixtures. You will work with engineering teams to ensure proper data acquisition and calibration aligned with ISO 17025.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on testing experience, proficiency with electrical/mechanical test equipment, and a collaborative approach to improve lab processes and products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with hands-on lab experience.
• Strong knowledge of test equipment and procedures.
• Experience with data acquisition and testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Support test equipment and setup for product testing per procedures.
• Prepare data acquisition for recording measurements.
• Design, build, and document test fixturing for lab testing.
• Maintain calibration and lab equipment per ISO 17025 scope.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support lab work.
• Respond promptly to lab support requests and drive resolution.
• Assist R&D testing issues with troubleshooting and improvements.
• Participate in cost-reduction and equipment improvement efforts.
• Correlate and document test data using proper forms.
• Lead calibration and support laboratory audits.
