Job summary

Magnera Corporation is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support quality control auditing, measurement and evaluation of raw, in-process, and finished materials using standard lab testing methods. You will interpret testing results, communicate findings to operations, and maintain a safe, clean lab environment.

The role requires basic manufacturing experience and a High School Diploma or GED, with teamwork and attention to detail essential.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements: Plant environment; standing, bending, manual dexterity; leadership ability and understanding of extrusion/conversion.

Responsibilities

Work in a safe and efficient manner.
Test raw materials, in-process, and finished product per lab data sheets; visually evaluate films/laminates.
Interpret results, monitor control charts, and support SPC with operations.
Report out-of-spec or out-of-control results to team leaders for corrective actions.
Complete lab data sheets for retention as a quality record.
Store and discard production retains per retention requirements.
Document line conditions and enter into quality windows.
Follow the Quality Policy and maintain a clean, orderly lab space.
Collaborate with others in a self-directed team.
Perform other duties and special testing as required.
