Job summary

Magnera Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer to maintain and improve quality systems, analyze data, and interface with customers. You will support product development, perform trials, and lead improvement projects across manufacturing assets.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing quality, ISO/GMP familiarity, and ability to travel 10–30%. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this on-site position at the Fort Smith facility.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Quality Management, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role; paper or hygiene products is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, and microbiological testing methods preferred.
• Ability to travel required (10-30%).
• Proven problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Works independently and can prioritize and multitask.
• MS Office products proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Paper, hygiene, or nonwovens experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve quality systems and data analysis.
• Lead audits with internal, customer, and third parties.
• Support product development with quality requirements and specs.
• Plan, execute and document trials for quality and process improvements.
• Lead DMAIC-based process improvements and monitor KPIs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Sales on improvements.

Education

BS degree in Quality Management, Engineering or related field

Certified Quality Engineer

Six Sigma certification (green or black belt)
