Job summary

Magnera Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to operate on the plant floor with PPE in a safety-focused environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety rules, and accurate documentation while meeting productivity targets.

You will participate in BBS near-miss reporting, troubleshoot quality and productivity issues, and collaborate with lab personnel, Team Leaders, and Senior Process Engineers.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent is required.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Recent manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety is paramount; all tasks must be performed with PPE and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Participation in Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) and near-miss reporting is essential.
• Foster a team-oriented attitude and consistently meet productivity standards.
• Accurate and timely completion of required documentation.
• Troubleshooting issues related to quality or productivity with the team or machinery.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential.
• Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
• Support adjustments to machinery and suggest process or procedure improvements.
• Coordinate with lab personnel, Team Leaders, and Senior Process Engineers; perform 5S and housekeeping duties.
• Obtain and maintain three certifications and train others as needed.
• Adhere to all departmental rules and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
