Job summary

IA Construction is seeking Laboratory and Field Technicians to perform QA/QC duties at aggregate or asphalt plant labs and to collect samples on construction sites for testing. Duties include promoting safety, operating equipment, and reporting incidents to management.

Responsibilities

• QA/QC testing of bituminous asphalt, asphalt content and gradation.
• Testing of aggregate materials, sampling, absorption, LA Abrasion, voids, and loss tests.
• Inventory and QC sampling, scheduling and testing to spec.
• Promote safety culture and report incidents to supervisor.
