Job summary

Bowdle Healthcare Center is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician to perform a variety of tests from routine to complex under minimal supervision. The role requires independent judgment, strict adherence to SOPs, and accurate reporting of results to healthcare teams.

Responsibilities include specimen procurement, testing within turnaround times, quality control monitoring, calibration, and maintaining a safe, organized lab environment. State licensure or national certification is required.

Qualifications

• Requires MT/MLT/CLT certification or eligibility.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Knowledge of SOP compliance and clinical lab procedures.
• Ability to perform a range of routine to complex tests.

Responsibilities

• Procure specimens according to SOP with proper identification.
• Perform tests ensuring accuracy within turnaround times.
• Monitor and assist with quality control data and instrument calibration.
• Maintain organized work areas and inventory.
• Communicate critical results to caregivers as appropriate.
• Adhere to safety, confidentiality, and infection control policies.
