Job summary

Reference Laboratories is seeking a skilled laboratory technician to prepare biological specimens, operate analyzers and microscopes, and ensure results are released according to SOPs. The role supports multiple departments including hematology, chemistry, and serology, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

You will perform routine and non-routine maintenance, review QC reports, and maintain organized logs and records, contributing to DOT and regulatory compliance where applicable.

Qualifications

• MT/MLT/CVT/RVT and 4-year degree with 1–5+ years laboratory experience.
• MT/MLT: 0–5+ years of lab experience.
• CVT/RVT: 1–5+ years of lab experience.
• 2-year degree: 1–5+ years of lab experience.
• 4-year degree: 1–5+ years of lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare biological specimens for testing across multiple departments.
• Operate high-throughput analyzers, microscopes, and diagnostic equipment.
• Set up, run tests, review results, and release findings per SOPs.
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on analyzers.
• Review daily QC reports and weekly Levey-Jennings charts.
