Baptist is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our clinical lab, performing and reporting clearly defined procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will handle shifts, overtime, and callbacks as required, with duties including quality control, maintenance, and inventory management.

Preferred candidates hold an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or have completed military lab training, and will obtain national certification within six months of hire.

Formación

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or completion of a 50‑week US military medical laboratory procedures training course.
• National certification required within six months of hire.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to adhere to regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Receives, identifies, organizes, and prioritizes specimens for accurate test processing.
• Performs and reports laboratory procedures as requested.
• Performs quality control, proficiency testing, routine instrument maintenance, and inventory control.
