Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Warwick, RI is seeking a Staff Lab Technician/Lab Manager to join our R&D team. You will support PCB assembly, rework, and precision soldering, while diagnosing board-level issues and aiding engineers with bring-up, testing, and validation.

You will oversee daily lab operations, inventory, and procurement, ensuring equipment is calibrated and documented, and promoting safety and 5S practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline as listed.
• Hands-on SMT soldering and board-level assembly experience.
• Strong troubleshooting of electronic hardware.

Responsibilities

• Support PCB assembly, modification, and rework with precision soldering.
• Troubleshoot board-level issues and assist with bring-up and testing.
• Manage day-to-day lab operations and ensure equipment availability.
• Maintain lab inventory and coordinate procurement as needed.
• Ensure calibration, maintenance, and documentation of instruments.
