Job summary

INFICON in Longmont is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will perform hands-on assembly of complex electronic controller units from drawings and work orders, ensuring precision and reliability of the finished products.

In addition to assembly, you will help with quality control, program PCBs, run tests, identify defects, and document results. The role requires reading blueprints and wiring diagrams and using basic soldering and hand tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; electronics training preferred.
• Experience assembling electronic components, circuit boards, or electronic controller units.
• Basic knowledge of soldering techniques and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions.
• Familiarity with PCBs, firmware loading, software configurations, and electronic testing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic controller units using hand tools and soldering equipment.
• Program PCBs by loading firmware and software configurations.
• Inspect components and final assemblies for defects.
• Test electronic circuits and controller units using multimeters and test fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
• Document test results and report production issues to supervisors.
