Qualifications

• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of passive components, semiconductors, power devices, and analog/digital circuits.
• Hands-on experience with SMT soldering, rework, and board-level assembly.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electronic hardware.
• Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, network analyzers, and power supplies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and report generation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support PCB assembly, modification, rework, and precision soldering/de-soldering of ICs and SMT components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose board-level issues including power-up failures and soldering defects.
• Assist engineers with board bring-up, testing, debugging, validation, electrical measurements, data collection, and results documentation.
• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations to keep equipment, tools, supplies, and work areas organized and ready.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and coordinate procurement of equipment and components.
• Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, tracking, and documentation of laboratory instruments and assets.
• Promote laboratory safety, 5S practices, and ESD compliance.
