This is an onsite, full-time Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Lab Technician 1 position supporting the Lebanon, NJ, location.

Summary

Assist laboratory personnel with the performance of various laboratory functions as directed by Laboratory Management.

Essential Functions

• Ensure that all glassware are properly washed and stored in the assigned locations.
• Perform routine laboratory support tasks that enable laboratory personnel to meet testing demands, including preparing sample/standard solutions, weighing materials, managing reference standards and chemical inventories, sample disposal, and basic chemistry tests.
• Perform weekly laboratory maintenance as directed by laboratory management.
• Adhere to quality and safety programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Contribute to the department's service efficiency by offering suggestions and participating actively in a work team.
• Promote and support Pace Analytical's mission by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior with customers and staff, fostering a harmonious workplace.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

High School diploma required; an Associate’s degree in chemistry or a related field is preferred. Prior work experience (minimum of 1 year) in a testing laboratory is ideal.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work within a GMP quality system is essential.
