Medical Device & Biotech is seeking an Entry Level Lab Technician to join the Complaint Investigations Lab, supporting complaint investigations and quality documentation workflows. Alameda, CA onsite, 28–31 USD/hr, 6+ month contract. Shift is 5:00AM to 1:30PM.

Ideal candidate: recent grad or with relevant tech experience, strong documentation habits, and willingness to learn hands-on troubleshooting and lab testing procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree ideal; recent grads welcome.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills and computer navigation.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Good documentation and data entry of investigation results.
• Follow SOPs and maintain consistent, repeatable work.
• HS Diploma or GED with technical experience; A.S. degree may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Unpack boxes safely and sort returned products by product lines.
• Investigate returned products to resolve customer complaints related to blood glucose meters, strips & sensors.
• Document complaint investigations in the Complaint Handling System with clear, accurate records.
• Use troubleshooting and lab equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, microscopes) to complete investigations.
• Perform routine maintenance on quality records and ensure testing equipment is within validity.

As a Lab Technician (Entry Level), you will be part of the Complaint Investigations Lab supporting complaint investigation and quality documentation workflows. Pay Range: $28/hr. - $31/hr.

Duration: 6+ Month Contract

What's the Job?
