Job summary

Pace® is hiring a Lab Technician I to join the sample preparation team in our environmental testing laboratory. You will receive comprehensive training to start a rewarding laboratory sciences career with real-world impact.

You will support lab sample-related activities, maintain documentation, and participate in training on lab policies and practices, with PPE provided and opportunities to grow within a culture of integrity, innovation and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing and maintenance.
• Maintain and update documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses and gloves; all PPE provided by Pace®).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required
