Job summary

Pace is seeking a Lab Technician I to support sample-related activities in the environmental testing lab. You will assist with preservation, preparation, processing and maintenance of samples while following documented procedures.

You will maintain records, participate in training, and work in a structured lab setting with PPE. This role is ideal for those starting a lab career, with training provided and room to grow within Pace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear PPE.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

What you’ll do

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing and maintenance
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses and gloves; all PPE provided by Pace®).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required
